 Non-allergic rhinitis
As its name suggests, non-allergic (vasomotoric) rhinorrhea is caused not by allergens, but by environmental influences such as heat, cold or dry air. The functioning of the blood vessels in the nasal mucous membrane is imbalanced, and swelling is triggered in the mucous membrane. The symptoms do not differ from those of hay fever: The disease is characterised by sneezing and runny secretions of mucous.
